La Minerva Bar has borne witness to illustrious encounters and centuries of artistic and cultural heritage. Framed by majestic columns and a palette evoking the grandeur of the Eternal City, the bar marries classical Roman motifs with contemporary flourishes, each detail envisioned by artist-architect Hugo Toro, who sought to weave past and present throughout the renovation process.
At its centre stands the statue of Minerva, the hotel’s muse and goddess of the arts and wisdom, sculpted by Rinaldo Rinaldi, a pupil of Canova. Poised behind the bar in full majesty, she remains the silent sentinel to the countless conversations that have unfolded within these walls.
